For the FLY BY 5 & 240 restaurant logo, I created a design that reflects the restaurant’s unique location at the intersection of Highway 5 and Highway 240, while embracing a vintage, country aesthetic. The logo takes the form of a badge in the shape of a highway sign, featuring the restaurant’s name prominently. To tie the logo to the local community, I included two birds – a falcon and an eagle – which represent the mascots of the area’s local schools. These birds symbolize strength, freedom, and community pride. The design also incorporates classic typography and earthy colors to evoke a nostalgic, welcoming feel. The final logo successfully blends the restaurant’s location, the local spirit, and its vintage country vibe.
